Erica Berger (playing all female roles) is a teacher who lives and works in Ogden, UT. She hails from Brooklyn and has enjoyed theater since junior high. She made her debut with WTC this year in Dog Sees God as Van’s sister. She is excited and honored to have been invited to join the WTC ensemble and to perform again in Freaks of the Cosmic Circus.
Mark Brocksmith has been entertaining audiences since 1997. He began his career at Youth Theater at the U, Youth Theater Conservatory ( formerly Theater School for Youth) in association with The University of Utah. Mark played several roles in High-School ranging from Babcock in "Mame" at Olympus High-School to King Leontes in "The Winters' Tale" at Highland High-School. After High-School, Mark went on to perform in "Spoon River Anthology" with Wasatch Theater Company, "1776" and "Big River" with Rogers Memorial Theater, "Julius Cesar" and "Lucia di Lamermoor" with The Utah Symphony and Opera, and Carl Wimmer, Senator Killpack and Mike Noel in "Saturdays Voyeur" with the Salt Lake Acting Company Dad, Lu and Hazar in Wait with Pygmalion Theater Company as well as Fezziwig in A Christmas Carol at Hale Center Theater. Film Credits include Shneiur Zalman in DZB Entertainments' "The Yankles", Arnold in Hallmark Chanel's "Heavens's Door", Florist in Kenny Riches' "Must Come Down." King#3 in ABC Families' 25 Days of Christmas "The Mistle-Tones", Bonebag in Avalanche Entertainments, "Dragonfyre" Man in Bathrobe in A Little White Lie by Caliwood Entertainment and Bar Patron in Mouse by Kenny Riches. Mark would like to say thank you to the friends and family who have supported him and his Art through out the years, especially his father Jack Brocksmith who always supported his acting talents and his mother Jennifer Susan, an outstanding example of compassion.
Jim is thrilled to portray Tennessee Williams, his favorite playwright, in this incredible play by Lojo Simon, presented in honor of our friend George Plautz! Jim has been involved over 80 productions along the Wasatch Front, from Orem to Logan and everything in between! A few favorite roles include: Sweeney Todd, Henry Higgins in My Fair Lady, Don Quixote in Man of La Mancha, King Arthur in Camelot, Emile de Beque in South Pacific, El Gallo in The Fantasticks, Buffalo Bill in Annie Get Your Gun, Charles in Blythe Spirit, Baptista in Taming of the Shrew, and Cromwell in A Man For All Seasons! And thanks to Jim Martin for this incredible opportunity!
Beck Mercury has had a love for the stage since he was 8 years old. He grew up performing in community theatres and filming home movies with friends, and plans to eventually write, film and star in his own movies. Beck took a break from live performing in 2019 and is very grateful to be welcomed back to the stage by WTC with open arms.

radical empathy through writing, teaching, performing arts and service. Her

for women and other marginalized groups. Her plays and musicals have been
presented in professional, community and university theatres nationwide and
have won the KCACTF David Mark Cohen National Playwriting Award, City Theatre
National New Play Award, Dayton Playhouse Futurefest Award, Old Miner

Kyle Simons is currently studying at Salt Lake Community College in their theater art program,
started acting at the age of 16. This performance isgoing be my professional debut. My inspiration came from my grandparents because they met onstage and that's what got me into acting.

Mitch has been performing in theatre and film productions since he was 10 years old, ranging from Shakespeare (A Midsummer Night's Dream' at the Parker Theatre, 'As You Like It' with New World Shakespeare, and 'Spicy Shakespeare' with Mad King Productions), musicals ('A Christmas Carol' at Draper Historic Theatre and '12 Dancing Princesses' with Sugar Factory Playhouse), and everything else in between! He once served as the understudy for Hamlet at a competition for the Utah Shakespeare Festival when he was 13. His senior year of high school, he was inducted into the International Thespian Society. An avid cinephile, whenever he isn't acting in films, Mitch enjoys watching them in his spare time. Furthermore, he is a proud ensemble member and frequent collaborator with Wasatch Theatre Company, having just performed in both their 'Folk Tales and Aliens' library tour and 'Dog Sees God' last May at the co-op and then at the Regent Street in June. He also currently serves as a board member of the Cultural Arts Society of West Jordan.
Jim Martin is a lifelong educator and theatre artist. He has a Doctorate of Education from the U of U in Educational Leadership and Policy with an emphasis in culturally-relevant pedagogy. He started Wasatch Theatre Company in 1997 with a group of friends from now Westminster University. Jim recently graduated from the University of Idaho at Moscow with a Master of Fine Arts in theatre arts and a directing emphasis. Jim is currently studying with the Drama Therapy Institute of Los Angeles and the great Pam Dunne to be a registered drama thearpist. Jim currently serves as the Executive Director of Wasatch Theatre Company and also serves on the Utah Cultural Alliance Board of Directors.
Liz Whittaker is a certified intimacy director through IDC. She has been training in intimacy direction and consent-based practices since 2019, and has roughly 200 hours of training from Theatrical Intimacy Education, Intimacy Directors & Coordinators, and Intimacy Coordinators of Color. She has also provided intimacy direction for over 25 productions with Grassroots Shakespeare Co, West Valley Arts, Westminster College, Plan-B Theatre Co, and others, as well as coordinating intimacy for various local film projects.
