Nicolas Bianchi began acting at age 19 at the University of Utah, completed the Actor Training Program at the school and is performing in his second professional show out of college. He was formally Perseus in a senior project, titled "Medusa" by Lexie Thomson, and BOYFRIEND in a University production of a devised play titled "Liminal" by Troy Deutsch. He was most recently seen as Caden in WTC’s production of THE THANKSGIVING PLAY by Larissa FastHorse. Nick is extremely grateful for his family and friends, who always support him.
Alex Smith is thrilled to be returning to Wasatch Theatre Company after making his WTC debut in JQA earlier this year. He has most recently been seen in Pride and Prejudice at the Grand Theatre and a staged reading of Let Down Your Hair at Salt Lake Acting Company. In the greater Salt Lake area, Alex has been seen as Ken Roberts in To Saints and Stars at Good Company Theatre, and Orlando in As You Like It with Mad King Productions. A graduate of Utah State University, his favorite roles there include Gower in Pericles, and Frankie in Civics and Humanities for Non-Majors. Alex hails from San Diego county. He would like to thank all of his friends and family for their ever present love and support.
Rajiv Joseph is an acclaimed American playwright whose work explores the complexities of the human experience with raw honesty and poetic language. A Pulitzer Prize finalist for Bengal Tiger at the Baghdad Zoo, Joseph has captivated audiences and critics alike with his thought-provoking and emotionally resonant plays. His work has been produced on stages worldwide, garnering numerous awards including multiple Obie Awards and the prestigious Whiting Award. From the haunting landscapes of war to the intimate complexities of personal relationships, Joseph's writing delves deep into the heart of the human condition.
Jim Martin is a lifelong educator and theatre artist. He has a Doctorate of Education from the U of U in Educational Leadership and Policy with an emphasis in culturally-relevant pedagogy. He started Wasatch Theatre Company in 1997 with a group of friends from now Westminster University. Jim recently graduated from the University of Idaho at Moscow with a Master of Fine Arts in theatre arts and a directing emphasis. Jim is currently studying with the Drama Therapy Institute of Los Angeles and the great Pam Dunne to be a registered drama thearpist. Jim currently serves as the Executive Director of Wasatch Theatre Company and also serves on the Utah Cultural Alliance Board of Directors.
